The equipment shipped for concrete pipe production and preparation of the concrete used in this process was selected in line with our customer's production requirements. At our customer's request, the length of the concrete pipes to be produced with the CPM 1600 PRO was specified as 1 metre. While the capacity figure is retained as stated for this shipment, the role of automation in concrete preparation should be considered separately.
In general, automation in concrete batching plants is used to dose materials according to the mix recipe, manage mixing stages and monitor production flow. Consistent concrete preparation helps keep mix properties under control during pipe production.
